We provide a safe, compassionate, and educational place for women to give birth.

The community of Kafountine was in need of a new birthing center for many years. After much hard work and perseverance, we were able to make that happen. The doors to our new birth center opened in September of 2021! We have delivered an average of 9 to 12 babies per month since opening. We are a very busy center and it’s predicted we will deliver as many as 50 babies per month in the near future.

The impact of our birth center has been significant. We are lowering both the maternal and neonatal mortality rate in the Kafountine Region. Women can count on us for optimum prenatal, childbirth, postpartum, and newborn care.

Along with the first childbirth education classes to be offered to women, we provide stable access to contraceptive services and we will continue to provide general health services for women.
